El <\/em>Congreso, <\/em>organizado por las Universidades: Australian National University Centre for European Studies, University of New England y Universit\u00e1 per gli Stranieri<\/em> de Perugia en el marco del Jean<\/em> Monnet Project Implementing Climate Policies, <\/em>se centr\u00f3 en el tema del cambio clim\u00e1tico, abordando desde las perspectivas del Derecho Internacional P\u00fablico y del Derecho de la Uni\u00f3n Europea las obligaciones de los Estados y de las empresas, los mecanismos de ejecuci\u00f3n de las pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas en la materia previstos en distintos ordenamientos jur\u00eddicos y el tema del impacto del cambio clim\u00e1tico en los derechos humanos, haciendo referencia tambi\u00e9n a los mecanismos judiciales y casi judiciales existentes en materia.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0PROYECTO INNOVACI\u00d3N DOCENTE PIEU: <\/strong>PARTICIPACI\u00d3N EQUIPO UMH EN VI COMPETICI\u00d3N EN LITIGACI\u00d3N INTERNACIONAL<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Un equipo de estudiantes de DADE de la UMH participa en la VI Competici\u00f3n en Litigaci\u00f3n Internacional<\/em> <\/a>(ComLit) organizada por la Universidad de Alcal\u00e1 (Madrid, Espa\u00f1a) y la Universidad Militar Nueva Granada (Bogot\u00e1, Colombia). En la competici\u00f3n participan 19 de equipos procedentes de diferentes Universidades de varios pa\u00edses Latinoamericanos (Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Per\u00fa) y de Espa\u00f1a.<\/span><\/p>\n

La Competici\u00f3n consiste en la defensa de un caso hipot\u00e9tico ante la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos y se divide en dos fases (escrita y oral). El equipo UMH particip\u00f3 de manera exitosa en la fase escrita, que finaliz\u00f3 el pasado mes de mayo y ahora llevar\u00e1n a cabo la defensa de un Estado ficticio en la fase oral del procedimiento, que se celebrar\u00e1 en Alcal\u00e1 de Henares entre los d\u00edas 19 a 23 de junio de 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

El caso hipot\u00e9tico, Estado de Pandora vs. Estado de Petolia,<\/em> propuesto por los doctores Mar\u00eda Fernanda \u00c1lvarez y Carlos Esp\u00edn Arias (Direcci\u00f3n Nacional de Derechos Humanos de la Procuradur\u00eda General del Estado de Ecuador) versa sobre una demanda interestatal relacionada con la protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente y los derechos humanos. Para la preparaci\u00f3n de su defensa, el equipo ha estudiado en profundidad los sistemas interamericano y europeo de protecci\u00f3n de los derechos humanos.<\/span><\/p>\n

La competici\u00f3n en litigaci\u00f3n internacional tiene como objetivos perfeccionar la formaci\u00f3n jur\u00eddica de los futuros abogados litigantes ante los tribunales internacionales de derechos humanos, profundizar en el estudio de los mecanismos internacionales de protecci\u00f3n de los derechos humanos desde una perspectiva eminentemente pr\u00e1ctica y auspiciar la creaci\u00f3n de una red iberoamericana de abogados y juristas expertos en la litigaci\u00f3n internacional.<\/span><\/p>\n

La participaci\u00f3n en la ComLit del equipo UMH se integra en el marco del proyecto de innovaci\u00f3n docente-Proyecto PIEU-B\/2022-34 del Programa de Innovaci\u00f3n Docente Universitaria PIEU-UMH 2022 y ha sido coordinado, desde la C\u00e1tedra\u00a0Jean Monnet\u00a0<\/em>de la UMH, por la Profa.\u00a0 Elena Crespo Navarro del \u00c1rea de Derecho Internacional P\u00fablico y Relaciones Internacionales (Departamento de Ciencia Jur\u00eddica). La actividad cuenta con el apoyo del Departamento de Ciencia Jur\u00eddica de la UMH.<\/span><\/p>\n
